Tigger....True Spruce. Sport weight SW Merino with a wonderful twist. It has 8 plies this makes it very round with great stitch definition. It has a lot of spring hence the name Tigger who really knows how to bounce!!! Dapple Solid dye technique. Dream Garden Series: I'm just getting to know this base. I've found that it really wants to be saturated with color. The 8 plies seem to demand it. So the more saturated the better. I have finally got a spruce color that I really love and a good sound recipe for it so I will be repeating this color. As ususal with certain colors the pics just don't capture it.

Colors: Browns, pinks, golds and purples. In our Tigger base that has never really had a chance to make a real debut. We have only dyed it once before. Care:
Handwash cool water, air dry flat.
Note, this is superwash so it can go in the machine but I still prefer to hand wash for longevity. Color bleeding can be normal for hand dyed yarns. I take special care when setting dyes and I thoroughly rinse the yarns. Blues and reds can be difficult to completely exhaust. A good tip is to add some distilled white vinegar to your final rinse water; it will stop the bleeding. I also recommend using a gentle wool wash such as Soak, Eucalan. I always use luke warm water for my knits and handwash even if it is superwash.

All of my yarns are dyed with professional dyes for light and wash fastness. I strive to take the best pictures possible but please remember that computer screens may vary with color.
