Spider Lace.....Entice.  A new base for the shop. This is a lovely lace weight in 100% Silk. It's a 2 ply and it really is special. Nothing takes dye like 100% Silk. It just glows and glows. I'm very excited about it. Subtle Ikat dye technique. The Tudor Series. We brought back Entice for the series. Anne Boleyn really enticed Henry so it works perfect for the series. Colors: Purples and Blues. Really dramatic in 100% Silk.  Looking at the tones I would call this a purple skein before I would call it a blue one however, there is blue in there. Note: With all the pics the cropped detail shot gives the most accurate representation of the true color. Double click it for the best view.

Care:
Handwash cool water, air dry flat.
Note, this is not a superwash yarn so handle with care. Color bleeding can be normal for hand dyed yarns. I take special care when setting dyes and I thoroughly rinse the yarns. Blues and reds can be difficult to completely exhaust. A good tip is to add some distilled white vinegar to your final rinse water; it will stop the bleeding. I also recommend using a gentle wool wash such as Soak, Eucalan. I always use luke warm water for my knits and handwash even if it is superwash.
