Sedona Sport ... Honor. A lovely soft Baby Alpaca/Silk /Cashemere blend that loves the dyepot. This is the same base as our Coromell but in a Sport weight. This is the softest yarn I have ever touched! It is so soft and silky and the cashmere just puts it over the top. The silk adds a beautiful sheen it is a lovely sport yarn. Dapple Solid dye technique. Colors: A blue base with purple and violet overdye. I'm always looking for new ways to do purples and blues. This one pleases me. This base gives the colors a heathered appearance. I love dyeing it. Care:
Handwash cool water, air dry flat. I prefer to handwash all of my hand dyed yarns to prolong the life of the color.

Color bleeding can be normal for hand dyed yarns. I take special care when setting dyes and I thoroughly rinse the yarns. Blues and reds can be difficult to completely exhaust. A good tip is to add some distilled white vinegar to your final rinse water; it will stop the bleeding. I also recommend using a gentle wool wash such as Soak, Eucalan. I always use luke warm water for my knits and handwash even if it is superwash. 

All of my yarns are dyed with professional dyes for light and wash fastness. I strive to take the best pictures possible but please remember that computer screens may vary with color.
