Mini Mica....Sky Dream. This is a lovely fingering weight in Superwash Merino 50%/ Silk 50% blend. This yarn is really nice with a beautiful twist. The silk glimmers and glows and the fact that the merino is superwash makes this a high performance yarn. It's Micas little sister. Dream Garden Series: Subtle Ikat/Watercolor dye technique. A new colorway. I really wanted a special lighter blue in the MM base when I realized I had never done one. Colors: Three soft blues kissed with violet and lavender and lilac. I'm very pleased with the results. Hope you like it too.

Care:
Handwash cool water, air dry flat.
Note, this is superwash so it can go in the machine but I still prefer to hand wash for longevity. Color bleeding can be normal for hand dyed yarns. I take special care when setting dyes and I thoroughly rinse the yarns. Blues and reds can be difficult to completely exhaust. A good tip is to add some distilled white vinegar to your final rinse water; it will stop the bleeding. I also recommend using a gentle wool wash such as Soak, Eucalan. I always use luke warm water for my knits and handwash even if it is superwash.
