Mica DK.... Greyonyx. This is a lovely DK weight in Superwash Merino 50%/ Silk 50% blend. This yarn is really nice with a beautiful twist. The silk glimmers and glows and the fact that the merino is superwash makes this a high performance yarn. For a DK it's not as large has our Marrakesh which blooms like crazy but it does fall into the DK category. Dapple Solid dye technique. It's back and it's been tweaked a little. We put less of the blue undertone and it's a little darker than the first batch done on Bliss. I love the way it looks on Mica and Mini Mica. This is a great staple grey for your knitting. Note, double click the pics for the best view of the color.

Care:
Handwash cool water, air dry flat.
Note, this is superwash so it can go in the machine but I still prefer to hand wash for longevity. Color bleeding can be normal for hand dyed yarns. I take special care when setting dyes and I thoroughly rinse the yarns. Blues and reds can be difficult to completely exhaust. A good tip is to add some distilled white vinegar to your final rinse water; it will stop the bleeding. I also recommend using a gentle wool wash such as Soak, Eucalan. I always use luke warm water for my knits and handwash even if it is superwash.
