A button-down cardigan sweater or vest with a classic fit in six sizes S(M, L, 1X, 2X, 3X), featuring a Tartan knit/purl fabric, cable details, set-in sleeves (vest has ribbed armhole trim), and a standing ribbed collar. Body is knit in one piece to the underarm; sleeves are knit flat. Works up beautifully in solids, tweeds, or tonal variegated yarns.
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in a variation in size.
 
Suggested Yarns: Marrakesh, Mica, or any DK yarn that knits to the pattern gauge.

Finished Size: 34(38, 42, 46, 50, 54) inches/86.5(96.5, 106.5, 117, 127, 137) cm in circumference at underarm to fit with 2-4 inches of ease

Gauge:
20 sts and 28 rows  = 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette (unblocked) on larger needle;
20 sts and 36 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in tartan pattern (washed and blocked) on larger needle

Needles:
size 4US (3.5 mm) circular for body; size 3US (3.25 mm) circular (or one size smaller than body needle) for ribbing trims and collar
