Bianca... Lipstick. A beautiful 100% Superwash Merino that blooms and blooms when you dye it. It has a lovely drape and hand and the sheen is wonderful. The twist is not as tight as our Wasabi or Enya. Subtle Ikat dye technique almost a Dapple Solid. Colors: This red has tiny little bits of pink streaks for highlights, touches of wine, a soft brownish red tone. I thought our new pattern Romanesque would look great in a red in the Bianca base so I dyed this for our pattern release.

Gauge 8 stitches to the inch on Us 1 to 3 needles 
For Lace needles range from 2-6 but depends on the knitter and their personal gauge. These are just suggestions.

Care:
Handwash cool water, air dry flat.
Note, this is superwash so it can go in the machine but I still prefer to hand wash for longevity. Color bleeding can be normal for hand dyed yarns. I take special care when setting dyes and I thoroughly rinse the yarns. Blues and reds can be difficult to completely exhaust. A good tip is to add some distilled white vinegar to your final rinse water; it will stop the bleeding. I also recommend using a gentle wool wash such as Soak, Eucalan. I always use luke warm water for my knits and handwash even if it is superwash.
